Overture has an inter­est­ing tool I’ve been using for some mar­ket analy­sis I’m doing for a startup. You type search key­words into it and it tells you how many peo­ple searched for those key­words on Yahoo last month. It also gives you a ranked list of related searches. So, in need of a lit­tle break, I decided to type in some­thing really gen­eral to see what it would come up with. I entered “house”:
Here’s what peo­ple are scour­ing the inter­net for using the word “house”:

• #1: new house (401k searches)
• #2: steak house (370k searches)

We may have the inter­net, but some things never change…
