Impulse

Just got a tip from Strobist (an excel­lent pho­tog­ra­phy blog in its own right). A Little News is writ­ten by a pho­to­jour­nal­ist of a small mar­ket news­pa­per in Alabama. Looks like some inter­est­ing stuff on the whys and cre­ative forces behind tak­ing pho­tos (i.e. not much tech).
For exam­ple, he’s got an inter­est­ing series called The Ethics of Misery — about the ethics of shoot­ing scenes of mis­ery — death, funer­als, etc. Or Seven Ways to Get Happy and Stay Happy — sug­ges­tions for hav­ing a good mind­set when shoot­ing. All good stuff.
